Sustainability

For FDM, sustainability isn't just an ethical choice, but a concrete commitment that accompanies every stage of design and production. Our climate chambers are designed to reduce environmental impact without compromising precision and reliability, ensuring regulatory-compliant and energy-efficient solutions.

Our Green Commitment

New Refrigerant Gases

New Refrigerant Gases & EU Regulations

Since 2019, FDM has been using eco-friendly refrigerant gases, compliant with European F-Gas directives. This choice has already allowed emissions to be reduced by up to 65% compared to previous solutions.

With the new EU Regulation 2024/573, the reduction of HFCs becomes even more ambitious:

  • Target of –95% by 2030 and complete elimination by 2050
  • Use of low GWP and optimised refrigeration circuits
  • digital traceability and strengthened controls
  • Periodic training and certifications to ensure correct management

Energy Efficiency

Energy Saving Solutions

Energy efficiency is one of our cornerstones: FDM climate chambers combine high performance and energy savings.
  • Reduction in consumption of up to 20% compared to market standards
  • High-efficiency compressors and advanced insulation
  • Intelligent control of thermal cycles
  • Integrated heat recovery (optional)
  • Monitoring dashboard for constant control
