Concrete compression test compliant with the standard
A major Italian partner, a reseller of temperature- and/or humidity-controlled instruments for concrete, informed us of their need for a press that could comply with evolving regulations in this field, without necessarily having to be replaced after each regulatory update.
Since there were no standard solutions on the market that could overcome this problem, and that also included the possibility of having modifiable technical characteristics, the client decided to turn to FDM, the ideal solution for custom projects of all kinds.
FDM PRC30C80 Compression Test Climatic Module
To meet our commercial partner's request, FDM's R&D department designed a temperature-controlled chamber (obviously with the possibility of including a humidity option) to be coupled directly to the press.
This means that for any customer who already owns a press, we will be able to design and build an independent module around it.
The ability to create a customized climate test module for a press gives the customer the advantage of running new tests or adapting to new regulations without the costly hassle of purchasing a new press.
The customized climate module for FDM material testing is therefore independent of the press but built around it and interchangeable.
The instrument is divided into two parts, a power part and a test part (climate test module), so that, in case of maintenance of the power part, it can be detached from the press without laborious disassembly procedures.
FDM and customized climate chambers
The FDM PRC30C80 climate module therefore has a very important advantage: it can be customized to suit the press. The specific characteristics of the project, which you can find in the datasheet , are completely modifiable based on different testing needs.
