Founded in Rome in 1949, F.lli Della Marca Srl is a family-run business now in its third generation. For over 70 years, we have been designing and manufacturing climate chambers and environmental control solutions, becoming a point of reference for laboratories, research centers, and industries worldwide.
Our history is one of continuous innovation and customer focus: from refrigeration system manufacturers in the 1950s to leaders in climatic chamber technology. Each generation has brought new skills to support scientific research and technological development, with instruments that offer precision, reliability, and flexibility.
Today FDM is synonymous with 100% Made in Italy, certified quality and the ability to adapt to the needs of an ever-evolving market.
Our History
1949
Founded in Rome as a maintenance company in the refrigeration sector.
1989
FDM becomes a leader in the maintenance of laboratory instruments, operating in the main Italian research centers and hospitals.
1990–1992
The first proprietary laboratory products. Production of climatic chambers, with recognized certifications and quality standards.
2012
Entering the third generation and opening up to international markets: FDM consolidates its presence in Europe and beyond.
2020–2024
Strengthening leadership in customized climate chambers for customer-specific testing. Launch of the FDM Care and FDM Start. Relaunch of the brand as FDM Environment Makers.
2025–2026
Relocation to the new Pomezia (Rome), designed to optimize the production of climate chambers and reduce environmental impact. A modern and sustainable headquarters, designed to enhance the local area and support FDM's future growth.
